style by Katy Perry

is it just me or what? i adore Katy Perry's hairstyle in this music video, i meant the black hair of course. i could just do with a little cut and then some perm here and there. hmm...

ps. I just noticed there's a website called, The Cozy Critter, selling items for pets. I must claim that this blog is not related to them or the website.

inspired by Footloose

wonder if any of you have already watched Footloose, it's a remake but the dancing moves in the movie is definitely good, makes you wanna dance together with them. i was just kidding, i can't dance at all.

one thing which I noticed and loved very much in the movie was the chandelier which they hung up for their prom night, last part of the movie. it was a mixture of light bulbs and glass bottles. gorgeous!

there's this metal ring to hold the wires in the middle and you can see that the glass bottles are mixed only in the middle, while the rest of the wired bulbs are pulled and hung at the walls at the sides.

aren't you inspired to do this for your home? it's going to increase your electricity bills though. haha.

do it youself: pill/candy case

i couldn't find my pill case when i needed one a few days ago and at time point of time, the best choice i could find was the candy tin case. comes in real handy during situations like this, suitable for holding anything small like candies, drugs, hair ties, nail clippers...

Photobucket

looking at it today, i decided to give it a make-over using some scraps i could find, wanted to use fabric initially but this is just going to be my first tryout to see how good those materials could hold together.

what do you think?

will find some time and do a tutorial with a cutout template for it, so that everyone can make your own case using a candy tin too.
